Green Grove is a 1100 hectare dry area property situated near Kamarah, NSW. Green Grove is regarded as one of the premier organic test cases in Australia, and indeed the world. Converte Plantfood has been a major ingredient in the farm nutrition programme for over 5 years.
Results:
• Additional heads and larger grain size
• Protein Increase in grain each year
• Less impact from frost and heat stress
• Greatly improved yield
• Healthy soils
• Improved Cation balance Ca-Mg
• Cation Exchange Capacity increased year on year
• Increase in plant available Phosphorus
• Enhanced Nitrogen in soils as a result of nitrogen fixation
• Up to 30% greater moisture retention
• >30% increase in soil microbiology (microbes and fungi) and increases in soil temperature
• Softer soils – less impact on machinery and savings in fuel
